Education and Community Programs

Theater League is not only committed to bringing the best and the brightest of Broadway to the cities it serves, but believes the arts are a vital part of a child's education. Theater League has created programs designed to introduce students and children's community groups to the thrill and magic of live theater.

As audience members, children have a chance to experience Broadway right in their hometown. By adding Q&A sessions with actors, backstage tours and workshops these same children experience what it takes to go on tour with a national production. Study guides give them background information on the creative process and what is required to write, direct and produce a nationally touring Broadway show.

From audience to actor, box office to backstage, theatre provides a multitude of opportunities that relate to every aspect of education. Theater League works with educators, artistic directors, group leaders and professionals to create a unique and well-rounded experience for our future actors, directors, designers, producers and patrons.

How would you like to see a Theater League performance for free?

Theater League is looking for volunteers to distribute posters for our upcoming productions. You can receive a ticket to an opening night performance of a Broadway show this season.*

We send you 50 posters, you send us the locations and contact information of where you placed them and we will give you a voucher good for one free ticket. If you distribute 100 posters we will send you a voucher for 2 free tickets!

This is a perfect chance for school groups, drama clubs, friends, etc. to get together, help publicize our upcoming Broadway Series and enjoy the thrill of live theater!

If you're interested in signing up for the program, contact Craig Aikman at 1.800.776.7469 ext.113 or at craig.aikman@theaterleague.org.

*Tickets available for opening night of select performances. Due to contractual restrictions, some shows may not be available.
